Theodore P. LeBlanc

Theodore "Ted" LeBlanc has over 20 years experience handling automobile injury claims. In 1984, he began his career as a claims adjuster for Progressive Insurance. While working full time at Progressive, Ted attended law school at the University of Maryland, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1992.

Ted continued with Progressive Insurance, advancing to the Maryland State Auto Claims Manager, where he was directly responsible for the investigation, evaluation and settlement of thousands of automobile injury claims.

In 1996, he entered private practice on Main Street, Prince Frederick, Calvert County, Maryland with the law firm of Davis & Upton. In January 2001, he was named as a partner and the firm became known as Davis, Upton & LeBlanc. While with his former firm, Ted handled a variety of cases, including auto accidents, personal injury, insurance defense, criminal, domestic, real estate and estates.

In December 2002, he joined with Larry D. Lamson, to form Lamson & LeBlanc, LLC.  In 2008, Mark W. Carmean joined the firm as a partner and the firm took on its present name of Lamson, LeBlanc & Carmean, LLC.

Ted's practice focuses on DWI/DUI cases, criminal defense cases, auto accidents, and personal injury cases.  Ted's experience as an insurance adjuster and claims manager makes him particularly suited to auto accident and personality injury.  In addition, Ted has handled hundreds of DUI and criminal cases. In 2003, he completed the course to become "Certified in Standard Field Sobriety Testing."

PERSONAL

Ted lives and works in Calvert County, where he raises his three children.  Ted enjoys running and spending time on his boat.  He also enjoys watching his children play sports.
