Mark W. Carmean
Mark
W. Carmean joined Lamson, LeBlanc, & Carmean in
2007, and his practice focuses on domestic, criminal defense,
personal injury, and general litigation matters. Prior to that, Mark
was a partner with Rath & Carmean, Ltd. From 1997 to 2002 he was an
associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Piper Rudnick LLP,
formerly known as Piper & Marbury LLP. While at Piper Rudnick
LLP, Mark worked in the commercial litigation practice group,
where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex
commercial, products' liability, personal injury,
telecommunications, and white collar crime cases.

Mark
earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Duke
University in 1994, where he graduated with Honors. After
leaving Duke University, Mark attended the University of
Maryland School of Law, where he was a Notes & Comments Editor
for the Maryland Law Review and received the Corpus Juris
Secundum Award for the outstanding student in Civil Procedure.
Mark earned his Juris Doctor degree from Maryland in 1997,
graduating in the top 10% of his class and being named to the
Order of the Coif.
